real estate update--new buyer

I dunno how many of you know that people who list their house put in a cushion of a few thousand above their bottom line. In today's negotiation I finished at $7000 above that line and I hope Wes lets me spend some of what I got for the house!!! I'm waiting to hear an agreement and hope it doesn't go any longer than today or tomorrow because we're paying for an inspection on the new place on Thursday.

The agent for the guy buying our place says he's been searching for the right place for over a year and that the house needs to face east, which this one just happens to do that. He's also glad I didn't put in funky stuff in the house--odd light fixtures, etc. (though he MAY paint over the lei). In the paperwork he asked for my Martin guitar (I told them where they could buy one, and NO, it doesn't come with the house!--the nerve of some people!)!

It was fun to sign Wes' name on all the paperwork! Ha-ha!
